ACI 318 §22.9.4 — Vn = μ·Avf·fy·λ. ϕ = 0.75. Avf,req = Vu / (ϕ·fy·μ·λ). Strength caps (normal-weight, monolithic): ϕVn ≤ ϕ · min(0.2·f'c·Acv, (3.3+0.08·f'c)·Acv, 11·Acv). For other interfaces, the lesser of (0.2·f'c·Acv, 5.5·Acv) governs (use roughened-to-¼" or smoother case appropriately).
