Method

Concrete = L · B · H. Formwork = 2(L · H + L · B + B · H) − bottom (typical for beam: L·B + 2·L·H = soffit + sides). For a single beam: form = L·B + 2·L·H. Bar mass per m: m = ρ·π·(d/2)² with ρ = 7850 kg/m³ → kg/m = (d²) · 0.00617 (mm). Stirrup count = L / spacing + 1; perimeter ≈ 2·(B+H − 0.08).
