Method
- Average End Area: V = L·(A₁ + A₂)/2.
- Prismoidal: V = L·(A₁ + 4·Am + A₂)/6 (Am estimated from average of adjacent A's).
- Difference is the prismoidal correction; useful for tapered earthworks.
