Inputs
Prismoidal needs an even number of intervals (3-station rule).
Station can be plain m (e.g. 100) or sta+offset (e.g. 0+100). Areas in m².
apply to fill (1.10 = compact 10% extra, 0.90 = bulk)
Method
- Average end-area: Vi = (A1+A2)/2 · L
- Prismoidal (3-station): V = L/3·(A1 + 4·Am + A2); needs even pairs.
- Cut and fill computed separately; net = cut − fill·shrink.
- Cumulative net volume becomes the mass-haul ordinate.
