Pipe Pressure Drop Calculator

Darcy-Weisbach friction loss with iterative Colebrook-White friction factor. Computes velocity, Reynolds number, friction factor, head loss, and pressure drop for round pipes carrying any incompressible Newtonian fluid.

Equations. Re = ρVD/μ. f from Colebrook-White (iterative): 1/√f = -2 log10(ε/3.7D + 2.51/(Re·√f)). Laminar (Re < 2300): f = 64/Re. hL = f·(L/D)·V²/(2g). Δp = ρ·g·hL.

Applies to fully-developed flow in straight, round, water-full pipes. Add minor losses (fittings, valves, entrances) separately using K-factors or equivalent length. For non-Newtonian or compressible flow, this calculator does not apply.
