ENGINEERING SCOPE AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

8. This software performs GEOMETRIC SCREENING ONLY against ACI 314R-11
   Sections 6.8.2.2 and 6.8.2.3, a guide document. It is not a substitute for
   ACI 318, which governs, or for the judgment of a licensed design
   professional.

9. A "PASS" result from this software does not certify structural adequacy
   and does not relieve the engineer of record of responsibility for the
   design. A "FAIL" result means the simplified provisions no longer apply
   and the opening requires explicit design (chord and diagonal
   reinforcement, Vierendeel action) that is outside the scope of this tool.

10. Reinforcing bars must not be cut or damaged at any location without the
    licensed design professional's approval. RHCES Engineering Services
    accepts no liability for structural failure, property damage, injury, or
    loss of any kind arising from reliance on this software's output in lieu
    of independent professional engineering review.

DATA / PRIVACY NOTICE

This software requires signing in with a Google account on first launch. The
app sends the Google-issued sign-in token to the RHCES verification service
(rhces.com), which independently verifies it with Google and stores your
email address, display name, and avatar URL in a database dedicated to this
application, to manage access and support. No project, beam, or opening data
you enter into the app is ever transmitted anywhere; all engineering
calculations happen entirely on your own computer.
